The health and safety of anyone involved in the doming process is of prime importance. Unfortunately there are still some users and suppliers who do not fully comply with the necessary regulations and user guidelines which are there for the benefit of us all.
There are many types of polyurethane resin available for various applications that use different types and strengths of catalysing agent to transform the material from liquid to solid. With the doming process the health and safety issues are primarily based around the chemical composition of the hardening agent. Most chemicals require a health and safety data sheet that advises on the correct and safe use of the material as well as general first aid advice.
The rules are simple if a supplier cannot offer accurate detailed health & safety data sheets do NOT use the product. Our resins have been developed with health and safety as a prime concern and when used correctly to not present any health and safety risks.
